AIl India Institute of Medical Sciences Mangalagiri, is a part of the group of AIIMS which are Public Medical Institutes. It is also an “Institute of National Importance” as declared by an Act of Parliament 1956 .
One of the goals of AIIMS Mangalagiri is to have a leadership role in advancing healthcare through medical research and innovation .
The Research Cell at AIIMS Mangalagiri promotes activities that enhance knowledge on research matters, attempts to leverage collaborations pertaining to research activities and streamlines execution of research projects. It is the hub for reviewing and record keeping . Research cell co-ordinates Institution funding for projects on a competitive basis annually
